Moving sometimes feels like a four letter word.  It brings upon so many changes and a boat load of temporary work.  For some, moving isn’t as stressful for others as they may have less to move, more support or more time to prepare.  Either way, no matter who you are or the size of your move, all movers must experience significant changes in their lives.

The obvious changes we face after a move are;

  • Neighbourhoods
  • Schools
  • Friends
  • Homes – more particular home layout/design and available space
  • Local Amenities

The list goes on and on.  It has to be said that the change isn’t always for the worse.  Sometimes, these changes actually bring upon better circumstances and environment.  One of these items that can make or break your new home are your neighbours. We want to know how your experience has been meeting your new neighbours.  Do you sit at home after the move just waiting for your new friends to bring over a fresh baked pie or do you prefer to be left alone at first until you more organically acclimate to your new street?

Feel free to use the comments section to let us know how you feel about moving into a new home and the new social interactions your are met with among your neighbours.

Happy Moving!
